About

Helen Rolfe Ham is a locally known artist who is inspired by her natural environment in Stow, Massachusetts. Her work is a combination of impressionism and abstract. She paints with optimism and a love of life. “I don’t paint every detail I see. Instead, I paint what I feel and invite the viewer into the experience. I want each person to discover something of their own in the painting, allowing memory, imagination and emotion to appear. I want people to remember how the painting made them feel. That is most important to me.”
